Layered Nacho Dip
1 large tomato chopped
1 (16 oz) can refried beans/green chilies
1 pkg dry taco
1 lb hamburger
browned and drained
1 small can chopped black olives
1 small chopped onion
1(16 oz) sour cream
1 pkg shredded lettuce
shredded mild cheddar cheese
On a 13"x9" dish layer the following: Mashed refried beans. Sprinkle 1/2 dry taco mix, followed by sour cream, hamburger. Sprinkle rest of dry taco mix, chopped onions, shredded lettuce, black olives, shredded cheese. Top with chopped tomato. Chill and serve with nacho chips.
Hoeing Livestock Farms was established in 1947, and now, three generations later, four Hoeing brothers are running the farm founded by their grandfather. The brothers milk 400 cows and farm 3,000 acres in Rush County. One of the brothers, Ken, was the rookie milkman at the Indianapolis 500 in 2013 — getting the prepared for his job next year to hand the 2014 winning driver a refreshing glass of milk to refuel after the race. The Hoeing family is active in church and with the Rushville FFA chapter, who uses their farm to practice for dairy judging contests.
